The 122nd annual Regional Convention for New England jurisdiction was held on May 19th and 20th at the DoubleTree Hotel is Leominster, MA. Many of the officers and delegates as well as guests to the convention arrived on Thursday night, May 18th. After we had dinner, the hospitality room was opened and we continued to enjoy friendship and fraternalism.

The executive committee met on Friday morning to discuss important matters pertaining to the convention. The Chris Antonelli New England Scholarship Fund also met on Friday and voted to grant Boy Scout Troop 823, a troop with persons with intellectual disabilities, $750 to fund their summer camp activities as well as granting $750 to each of 3 scholarship applicants.

The convention sessions began on Friday afternoon beginning with Regional President Angela's report of her activities for the year. Reports were received from the Treasurer, Secretary, the Executive Committee as well as reports regarding our charitable contributions for the year.

The officers were installed in the afternoon by Past International President Jim Walsh with PRP Bob Blanchard serving as Installing Marshal. Ernie LaPlante was declared a Past Grand Counselor for the second time after serving through the Executive Committee for the second time!
